Anna Zucker, BS
Anna, originally from Victoria, Minnesota, is currently completing her master’s (MS) in Health and Human Physiology. Anna completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science at University of Iowa (BS, 2023). During her studies as an undergraduate, Anna studied under Dr. Nathaniel Jenkins, where she focused on understanding the physiological and bio-behavioral pathways by which early life stress (adverse childhood experiences) promote the early development of cardiovascular and metabolic disease and to identify interventions that can mitigate this risk, and also understanding the utility of resistance training as an exercise modality to improve cardiometabolic health in aging adults. She is ecstatic to further her interests in studying the effects of aging, exercise, and nutrition on cardiometabolic health.
